Herbarium Imprints is a collection of real botanical imprints, hand-painted watercolor backgrounds, and hand-drawn organic frames, built for designers working on branding, packaging, editorial layouts, and print.

Every plant and leaf shape in this set started as a physical print. Real flowers and foliage — late-summer and autumn growth — were pressed directly onto paper, ink soaking into the fibers, then scanned and digitized at high resolution. Nothing in the imprint layer is AI-generated or redrawn from stock photography.

Why this collection exists

Most botanical graphics on the market are vector redraws — clean, symmetrical, and slightly generic. This one isn’t. Every leaf vein, every uneven edge, every ink bleed came from an actual plant on actual paper. That imperfection is the point: it reads as handmade because it is.

The color palette moves through muted and deep greens, dusty rose, wine-red, and a moody blue — tones aligned with current fall/winter color direction, chosen to work as a cohesive system rather than a one-off asset.
